Welcome! We’re so glad you’re interested in becoming a member of SFJ to celebrate, honor and learn about the craft of storytelling.

We have kept our membership free since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. We know this is a tumultuous time in the media industry, and we want to make it as easy as possible for features journalists to find camaraderie and support. 

SFJ members have access to SFJ programs and events, job postings and community conduits such as a listserv and a soon-to-be-launched dedicated Slack channel.
